Beyond The Plains (Kenya)

I went with a recommendation from Ella’s website/email list and am so glad I went with Beyond the Plains for my safari in Kenya. It was fantastic! Would totally recommend and use them again. Everything was professional, smooth, and exactly as expected. Communication was great beforehand and during the trip. Our driver was kind and knowledgeable about the animals. Awesome pick! And it was very helpful to have a list of trusted options put together since on my own doing research it felt a bit overwhelming to sort through everything and find a trusted company.

“We had the absolute most AMAZING Safari trip in Kenya with Beyond The Plains – they are such a fantastic company and Ken our driver was a complete diamond. We had so many laughs with him, such a great person and guide! He was super knowledgeable on not just the animals but the Kenyan history and culture too. He was also very ethical when it came to wildlife viewing, not getting too close or surrounding any animals.

We are just completely over the moon with every single experience of our trip, from start to finish! I feel we made the absolute best decision when it comes to not just the Company we booked with, but the country and all the locations we visited. The accommodations were incredible, the food and service was incredible, the game drives and literally everything was out of this world!!

Thank you again so so much for all your help with getting me in touch with companies from the start and answering all of my questions, it really made the whole experience of planning so much more enjoyable, as it really was extremely overwhelming before I found your YouTube and got in touch with your recommend companies! I’m already in talks with them about our next trip 😍

Thanks again so much Ella!!!”

“Booking a safari can be very overwhelming, especially if it is your first time. Having trustworthy information makes the process much less intimidating. Also safari’s tend to be very expensive which increases the tension of making the right decision. We found Ella’s recommendations very useful in helping us choose the right fit for us. Thank you Ella!

This is the feed back we left for the safari we went on:

We went on a 13 day safari organised by Beyond the Plains and we have to say that everything was excellent starting with the initial communication. Replies were always prompt and precise and we were able to tailor the safari according to our preferences.

John, our guide, was great and did everything possible to make sure we had the best possible experience.

Communicating, with Andrew, was easy and very reliable – we always felt that somebody was looking after us to make sure it all worked out as planned.

We wanted to make the most of our trip and were fortunate enough to see quite a lot of Kenya and a great variety of parks. What a beautiful country and great experience for all of us, thank you!

We enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend Beyond the Plains.”

We came across Ella via her YouTube channel and then contacted her.

She helped us out a ton –

A) sharing her own experiences on what she liked most wrt Kenya and specifically safaris

B) connecting us to 3 tour providers who offered safaris

We finally went ahead with one of those 3 – Beyond the Plains – who turned out to be awesome!

– extremely responsive

– well connected to help us get the preferred hotels

– tailored our safari to what we wanted to cover (which was a lot) in a very short duration (12 days)

Net – many thanks Ella

We discovered our Safari company Beyond The Plains Kenya Safaris via Ella’s website and we’re so glad that we did. We couldn’t have asked for a better safari experience! From the first contact with Felix who arranged everything for us in order to meet our preferences, to our guide, Kevin, who was not only a very talented guide but an even more talented driver. We really loved our time with Kevin, he made sure to do everything he could so we could have the best experience and he kept teaching us not only about the animals but also about the culture. It was even better than we expected! Thank you Ella for all your tips and help through the booking and preparation process. We hope that you continue your good work!
